Cashier/merchandiser

The Cashier/Merchandiser plays a vital role in providing excellent customer service at the point of sale and maintaining the store’s presentation and stock levels. This position involves handling transactions, stocking products, managing shipments, and ensuring a clean and organized environment for customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate standard POS systems to process customer transactions accurately
• Stock products on shelves and replenish inventory as needed
• Handle incoming shipments and organize stockrooms efficiently
• Merchandise products to maintain attractive and accessible displays
• Clean customer areas, including general tidying and bathroom cleaning
• Keep the store and stockrooms organized and well-maintained

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in retail operations and cash handling
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Basic customer service skills
• Attention to detail and physical stamina
• Prior merchandising experience
