Quality Auditor

The Greer Group is hiring a Quality Auditor for a temp-to-hire opportunity with an established manufacturing company in the Canton, NC area!

If you have manufacturing or quality experience and take pride in accuracy, attention to detail, and making sure products meet quality standards, this could be a great opportunity to build a long-term career.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Perform in-process inspections of manufactured products to ensure quality standards are met
• Provide quality auditing support to other areas as directed by management
• Perform 1st piece inspections and approve product quality before the start of production runs
• Perform specialized quality testing as required by part-specific work instructions, including:
  • Gloss
  • Color analysis
  • Film thickness
  • Adhesion
  • Caliper measurements
  • Other product-specific testing
  • Document shift activities on area audit reports
  • Identify, document, and control non-conforming products
  • Complete HOLD tag reporting according to work instructions when needed
  • Follow company quality, safety, and production procedures

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of related experience and/or training
• Manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and document results
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
