PrideStaff is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Maintenance Technician on behalf of our client in the Piedmont, SC area.
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on all production machinery and occasionally assist with general maintenance. The right candidate must be committed to safety, precise diagnostics, and preventative maintenance.

Electrical Maintenance Technician Primary Responsibilities include:
Your main responsibility is the troubleshooting and repair of electrical components on production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal operational performance.
- Diagnostics & Repair: Diagnose complex electrical problems, determine corrective actions, and repair machines, equipment, or structures using precision measuring instruments and electrical testing devices.
- Technical Assembly: Assemble, install, and repair wiring, electrical components, machinery, and equipment based on technical documentation.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform routine and preventative maintenance, including inspecting drives, motors, and wiring to ensure reliability.
- Planning & Documentation: Plan and lay out repair work using drawings, blueprints, schematic diagrams, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
- Component Handling: Disassemble and reassemble equipment for rebuilding purposes; inspect used parts to determine dimensional requirements using rules and calipers.
- Logistics & Purchasing: Work with vendors when needed to acquire necessary parts for repairs and maintenance.
- General Maintenance: Assist in equipment modifications and perform general cleaning duties of buildings and properties as assigned by management.
Electrical Maintenance Technician Desired Skills and Experience include:
- 2 years Electrical maintenance experience required.
- Experience in Troubleshooting and PLC programming required.
- Must be able to read blueprints, schematics, and other technical documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication is essential.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills is a must.
- Must be able to satisfactorily Pass Oppermann forklift Certification.
- Must regularly lift up to 50lbs unassisted and move up to 500lbs with mechanical assistance.
- Prior experience providing support for facilities, buildings, and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to adapt to temperature changes; Close, distance, color, and peripheral vision required.
