Job Description

Senior Wayfinding Administrator – Healthcare

Image360 – Plymouth

About the Opportunity

Image360 is a national leader in visual communications, signage, and environmental graphics. The majority of our work is large-scale healthcare wayfinding — helping hospital systems and medical campuses communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff — though this role may also support corporate, higher education, and other institutional wayfinding programs as our practice grows.

Our account managers build deep, long-term relationships with our clients, leading every project from creative ideation through design, production, and installation. We're adding a Senior Wayfinding Administrator to work directly alongside our account managers — owning the technical sign program infrastructure so they can focus on strategy, relationships, and client experience.

If you've worked in signage, wayfinding, or environmental graphics and want a role where precision and systems thinking are the job — not a side of it — this is worth a look.

What You'll DoProgram & Database Ownership
  • Serve as the internal expert on our sign program management platform across active healthcare accounts
  • Set up new client projects: upload floor plans, build sign type templates, establish numbering logic, and configure project structure
  • Maintain each client's sign database as a live, accurate system of record — capturing every department change, renovation, or room renaming in real time
  • Generate sign schedules, fabrication packages, and location reports for handoff to production and installation teams
Site Survey Coordination
  • Prepare for and coordinate site surveys for new programs: upload base plans, create sign placeholder structures, and configure mobile survey workflows
  • Conduct and/or administrate field surveys — photographing existing signs, recording locations, and verifying data accuracy
  • Reconcile survey data with final project records and close out each survey phase with a clean, verified database
Program Support for Account Managers
  • Respond to account manager and/or client requests for sign additions, deletions, message changes, and location updates across active programs
  • Translate client-reported changes into accurate database updates
  • Prepare draft sign schedules and message lists for account manager and client review
  • Flag discrepancies, duplicate signs, numbering conflicts, or ADA specification gaps for review
Data Quality and Standards
  • Maintain consistent naming conventions, numbering logic, and sign type structures across all projects
  • Conduct periodic database audits to ensure active accounts reflect current facility conditions
  • Document platform processes and naming standards so they're transferable and trainable
What We're Looking ForExperience
  • 4+ years in signage, wayfinding, or environmental graphics production, project coordination, or technical platform administration
  • Experience in a sign company, architectural firm, interior design firm, or facilities management environment
  • Experience with sign or asset management software (we use SignAgent) is a strong plus; comfort learning structured, database-driven SaaS platforms is essential either way
  • Experience reading and working with architectural floor plans or construction documents
Technical Skills
  • Comfortable reading, uploading, and annotating architectural PDFs and floor plans
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets — comfortable managing schedules, reconciling lists, and spotting data errors
  • Working familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and /or comparable tool for plan markup and file management
  • Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator or InDesign is a plus but not required
What Makes You a Fit
  • Exceptionally organized — you'll be the system of record for complex, large-scale programs, and accuracy matters
  • Process-oriented; you enjoy building consistent workflows, naming conventions, and quality checks
  • Works collaboratively with good communication skills, partnering closely with account managers
  • Comfortable managing multiple active projects simultaneously without losing detail quality
  • Calm and methodical when program information changes — floor plan revisions, department renames, phasing shifts
Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience in a sign, design, facilities, or construction coordination environment will be considered.

What This Role Is Not

This role is designed to support account managers — not replace them. This position does not:

  • Lead client relationships or serve as the primary client contact
  • Develop wayfinding strategy or recommend zone logic
  • Approve sign messages or design decisions independently
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, or change orders

The right candidate finds real satisfaction in being the technical backbone of a well-run program — not in being the face of it.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting salary of $80,000 or greater, commensurate with experience
  • Full-time, salaried position
  • Mostly local travel, with routine visits for site surveys/client meetings as necessary
  • Shared health insurance program
  • 401(k) program with company match
  • Paid time off

This role reports directly to the General Manager.
