Groth Pain & Spine is Long Island's premiere Pain Management practice.  As we are rapidly growing and expanding, we are looking to add a skilled and energetic Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to our team. As a part of our practice, you will work alongside Physicians, NPs, PAs, Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, Massage Therapists, Psychologists, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers. Your experience with our practice will include managing patient medication, performing procedures including trigger point injections, Botox, and joint injections, and creating treatment plans which include modalities like physical and occupational therapies, home exercise programs, and minimally invasive procedures performed by our Physicians. We offer complete training on high-end ultrasound machines, and CME funding to continue to grow and craft your skillset.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
  • Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
  • Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

Qualifications:

  • NP or PA licensure in New York State
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with autonomy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Experience in pain management or orthopedics is a plus
