Hotel Breakfast Attendant

Position Overview
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing and maintaining the daily breakfast service, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests. This role requires early morning availability and involves interacting directly with hotel guests to provide a positive start to their day.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and stock the breakfast buffet with food and beverage items
• Ensure all items are fresh, properly presented, and replenished as needed
• Greet guests and assist with any questions or special requests
• Maintain cleanliness of dining area, including tables, counters, and floors
• Monitor and empty trash receptacles during and after breakfast hours
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Clean and break down the breakfast area following the end of service
• Take inventory of items that need to be ordered

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced setting
• Dependable and punctual, with consistent early morning availability (starting around 5:30 AM)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 25 lbs
• Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
