Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the apartment community while helping ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

• Complete resident work orders and maintenance requests
• Perform apartment make-readies and unit turns
• Troubleshoot and complete plumbing repairs
• Perform electrical repairs and troubleshooting
• Assist with HVAC repairs and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose and repair common household appliances
• Complete drywall repairs, painting, and touch-ups
• Perform basic carpentry and general property repairs
• Assist with preventative maintenance throughout the property
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Communicate professionally with residents and property management
• Help maintain a high level of resident satisfaction
• Complete additional maintenance duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of apartment/multifamily maintenance experience required
• Experience with apartment turns, make-readies, and work orders
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, drywall, painting, and general repairs
• HVAC certification is a plus but not required
• CPO certification is a plus
• Must have basic maintenance tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Dependable and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must successfully complete a thorough background screening
