Join the growing team at Muck & Fuss San Antonio as a Kitchen Line Cook, where you'll work with a collaborative group preparing casual American cuisine. Our established and successful restaurant offers competitive starting wages and opportunities for advancement and cross-training. This role requires availability on nights and weekends and a commitment to maintaining high standards in food quality and kitchen operations during full 8+ hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to menu specifications
• Set up and maintain cooking stations for efficient service
• Ensure quality control and consistency in all dishes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Monitor inventory and assist with stock replenishment
• Collaborate effectively within a large team setting
• Comply with food safety and sanitation standards
• Assemble orders accurately and timely
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety practices
• Proficient knife skills and various cooking techniques
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and dedication to quality
• Experience operating kitchen equipment
• Effective teamwork and communication skills
