SHOP FORMAN/SHOP MANAGER – BILINGUAL REQUIRED – IMMEDIATE HIRE

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with a half-day Saturday

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Shop Foreman/Manager to lead the daily operations of a busy heavy-duty repair shop in Okeechobee, FL.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and mechanical skills, along with proven experience managing shop operations, scheduling, payroll, parts, and fleet repairs. This position will oversee the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of heavy-duty tractors, trailers, skid steers, and agricultural/farm and sod equipment.

Key Responsibilities

● Manage daily shop operations, workflow, and technician assignments

● Oversee in-house repairs and maintenance of heavy-duty trucks, tractors, trailers, skid steers, and agricultural equipment

● Lead and supervise shop personnel while maintaining a safe and productive work environment

● Schedule repairs, manage workflow, and prioritize equipment needs

● Oversee payroll and timekeeping

● Order parts and manage inventory levels

● Process invoices and maintain accurate shop records and documentation

● Monitor repair costs and help minimize the need for outsourced repairs

● Ensure repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard

Experience Requirements

Qualified candidates should have 2–4 years of proven shop management or shop foreman experience, including:

● Heavy-duty truck and trailer repair

● Fleet maintenance and repair management

● Scheduling and workflow coordination

● Payroll and employee oversight

● Parts ordering and inventory management

● Agricultural, farm, sod, or similar equipment repair experience

Additional Requirements

● Bilingual English/Spanish required

● Strong computer skills

● Excellent leadership and organizational abilities

● Strong communication and problem-solving skills

● Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced shop environment

● Reliable, dependable, and hands-on work ethic

● Valid driver’s license
