CT Technologist Job Requirements

• Entry-level opportunity; limited or no experience accepted
• MIT level assignment based on skill set and experience
• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology program and high school graduate
• New York State registration in Diagnostic Radiography or eligibility for a limited permit
• ARRT certification required
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED certification
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical setting

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Support care for trauma, emergency, inpatient, outpatient, ICU, and research patients
• Assist with specialized CT scan-guided procedures as needed
• Work closely with physicians and clinical leaders to support safe, effective imaging
• Follow radiation safety practices and New York State Department of Health guidelines
• Deliver a positive patient experience while maintaining efficiency and accuracy
• Continue learning and supporting a team culture focused on teaching and growth
