Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist to perform CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy imaging with ARRT registration required.
Details
- Performs computed tomography (CT) imaging along with general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
- Cares for patients ranging from adolescents through geriatric populations
- Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
- Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to appropriate locations
- Day shift options include 7am-5:30pm, 8am-6:30pm, or 9am-7:30pm
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- ARRT registration as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) required
- Advanced CT certification required in OR and HI, preferred in CA
- BLS certification from an approved vendor required
- State RT license required if applicable
- Fluoroscopy license required in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment
- Venipuncture certification required in CA if administering contrast materials
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care across the age spectrum
- Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information in compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
- Performs routine maintenance, calibration of equipment, and manages supply inventory
- Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
