Occupational Therapist (OT)

J O B   S U M M A R Y

As an Occupational Therapist, you'll evaluate new clients, develop personalized treatment plans, and guide them toward their goals. You'll document care, oversee treatment delivery (including work performed by any supervised OTAs), and adjust goals and milestones as needed for the best possible outcomes.


R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S

  • Evaluate new clients and answer introductory questions about their care
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with short and long term goals, adjusting as needed for successful outcomes
  • Implement treatment and track client progress toward goals
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation of client needs, care, and outcomes
  • Work closely with clients and families to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for success
  • Supervise and collaborate with OTAs providing therapy services

Requirements:

Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • NBCOT certification
  • Alaska state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Passion for helping clients reach their functional and daily living goals
  • Strong charting, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Strong evaluation skills
  • Comfortable with basic computer programs (Microsoft Office, Google Docs, etc.)
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills



Compensation details: 40-65 Hourly Wage
