J O B S U M M A R Y
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll evaluate new clients, develop personalized treatment plans, and guide them toward their speech, language, communication, and wellness goals. You'll document care, oversee treatment delivery (including work performed by any supervised SLPAs), and adjust goals and milestones as needed for the best possible outcomes.
R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S
- Evaluate new clients and answer introductory questions about their care
- Develop individualized treatment plans with short and long term goals for speech, language, communication, and wellness
- Implement treatment and track client progress, adjusting as needed for successful outcomes
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation of client needs, care, and outcomes
- Work closely with clients and families to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for success
- Supervise and collaborate with SLPAs providing therapy services
