Experienced Caregiver/ CNA

Pay: $21 to $23 per hour

IMMEDIATE NEED - MUST HAVE 3+ YEARDS OF EXPERIENCE (Dementia Care Preferred)

Location: Darien, IL

Male CNA's Preferred

• Must have Dementia experience
• Personal care and companionship
• Shifts: Monday to Friday 2:00pm to 8:00pm

Caregiver responsibilities include:

• Provide personal assistance and support to individuals in their daily activities, being prepared to assist with personal care needs, including toileting and showering
• Prepare meals and ensure dietary needs are met
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment
• Drive individuals to appointments, activities, and outings
• Assist with lifting, up to 50 lbs, and be able to bend, twist, push and pull to assist clients
• with daily tasks
• Respect and uphold resident rights and confidentiality
• Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous caregiving experience (REQUIRED)
• Dementia Experience
• Has Reliable Transportation to reach clients
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care
• Empathy, patience, kindness and respect
• Ability to carry out direction, both verbal and written
• Ability to effectively manage the demands of the job
