Job Description
Avery Partners is looking for an Electrical Engineer to help design power infrastructure for the food and beverage industry. This is for very busy company located in Atlanta, GA. This position would be full time in office Mon- Fri 8-5ish. There is some travel to job sites every week as well(about 20% travel, 1 day/ week).
Job Duties will include:
-Design primary and secondary power distribution for food and beverage production facilities. This includes medium voltage service entrances, switchgear, substations, transformers, and plant-wide distribution
-Perform electrical load studies for new lines, plant expansions, and brownfield retrofits
-Evaluate the true electrical cost of competing OEM equipment options
-Coordinate power design with process, mechanical, controls, and civil disciplines from concept through commissioning
Requirements:
-Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, a PE license strongly preferred
-7 years of experience in industrial power distribution design
-Experience in food and beverage plant experience preferred
-Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, 70E, and utility interconnection requirements
-Must be proficient in professional communication on site and through written reports
-Must be willing to travel to client sites every week
