Pest Control Technician

Pest Control Technician will be responsible for identifying and removing (using IPM best practices) various types of pests, as well as preventing future infestations

Hours are 7:30am - 4pm Pay depends on experience. $16 - $18 an hour.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Inspect buildings for unwanted pest activity and infestation
2. Identify types of insects/pests
3. Measure dimensions of area needing to be treated
4. Recommend pest treatment and elimination options by providing estimates for one-time treatments and recurring maintenance
5. Mix pesticides according to label
6. Apply pesticides in and around customers’ property (residential or commercial)
7. Set any traps, and monitoring stations
8. Follow all label health and safety procedures regarding use of PPE
9. Keep work vehicle tidy (wash once per week to be checked at weekly staff meetings) and stocked with all necessary tools and equipment
