Electrical Designer

We are seeking an Electrical Designer - Power for an onsite contract opportunity support our client in Dayton, Ohio. This role supports industrial, manufacturing, and chemical process facility projects, including greenfield and brownfield expansions, retrofits, upgrades, automation integration, and custom engineering solutions.
 
Location: Onsite - Dayton, OH
Job Type: Full-Time Contract (W2)
Pay Range: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour, depending on experience, technical expertise, industry background, and overall qualifications.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Design industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, controls, and lighting
• Develop and update electrical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
• Create single-line diagrams and support P&ID reviews
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, clients, and panel fabrication teams
• Support projects involving MCCs, VFDs, transformers, switchgear, and low/medium-voltage systems

 
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or Electrical Engineering Technology with 2+ years of industrial electrical design experience, OR Associate degree in Electrical Design/EET with 4+ years of relevant industrial design experience
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Experience with power distribution, cable sizing, lighting design, and industrial control systems
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, chemical, or process plant environments preferred
