What You’ll Do

• Provide direct patient care under supervision in a hospital setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Assist with patient assessments and care planning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality care
• Follow all safety and compliance protocols

What You Need

Required:

• Valid LVN license in Texas
• Proven experience as a psychiatric mental health tech/aide
• Ability to work at Terrell State Hospital with patients having dual diagnoses
• Willingness to comply with HHSC immunization, drug testing, fingerprinting, and training requirements

Preferred:

• Experience in a hospital or acute care environment
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish)
