Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting, requiring 1+ year of experience and CA OT licensure.
Details
- Acute Care Hospital setting
- Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Schedule may be Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday
- Weekend shifts required; weekend blocks also possible
- Epic charting system used
- 212 staffed beds
Requirements
- Current CA OT license required, if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- BLS certification required
- Epic experience preferred
- 2 references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers accepted
- Facility may float travelers between sister facilities nearby
- Facility can call off shifts once per two-week pay period
- Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a local rate
- RTO must be submitted upfront at time of submission; minimal RTO preferred to expedite process
- Must be willing to commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
