Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT OP) Location: Not specified. This outpatient therapy position involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and ensuring effective recovery with a focus on community reintegration. Job Details
- Position Description: Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans aligned with patient needs, goals, and physician directives. Responsible for delegation and supervision of discipline-specific therapy services. Designs functional treatment programs to promote effective return to community activities. Serves as an educator for patients, families, coworkers, and students.
- Certifications / Education / Experience / Location / Years of Experience: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. CPR certification required. Minimum of 1 year outpatient clinical experience preferred; 0 years minimum experience. Currently licensed or eligible for licensure in the state where the work will be performed.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Performs comprehensive patient evaluations, develops treatment goals focused on discharge, and documents medical records accurately and timely. Participates in student training and clinical development programs. Maintains licensure and adheres to state regulations and professional codes of conduct. Engages in continuous professional growth through ongoing education and organizational performance improvement initiatives. Demonstrates safety awareness and complies with clinic policies on safety, appearance, attendance, and punctuality.
