Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
- Valid LBS1 Teacher Certification and PEL (Professional Educator License)
- 1-5 years teaching experience
- Fluent in Spanish; strong content knowledge with multiple literacy concepts
- Belief that all students, regardless of income, can succeed
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities
- Clear and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated creativity, initiative, and mastery of academic and behavioral interventions
Responsibilities:
- Deliver superior instruction in Special Education and ESL/ELL settings for grades K-8
- Implement curriculum and IEPs for an average caseload of 30 students
- Address academic, emotional, and physical student needs
- Cultivate positive, socially appropriate behavior
- Collaborate with a committed team to foster student achievement and growth
