Job Position: Grinder Operatior (ID/OD Cylindrical - Manual)

Location: Milwaukee, WI 53224

Pay Rate: $28-$40

Shift:

Description: 1st shift
Kellenberger or similar, prior grinding experience preferred.

1. Set up and operate manual cylindrical grinders

2. Perform ID (inside diameter) grinding

3. Perform OD (outside diameter) grinding

4. Set up wheels, tooling and workholding

5. Dress and maintain grinding wheels

6. Read and interpret blueprints

7. Understand tolerances and surface-finish requirements

8. Use micrometers, bore gauges, indicators and other precision measuring tools

9. Make adjustments during the grinding process

10. Inspect finished parts

11. Maintain tight tolerances

12. Perform basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance

13. Work independently on precision parts
