JOB DESCRIPTION:
Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Material Handler 1's for a contract opportunity in Melbourne, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
- High school diploma or equivalent and 0-4 years of experience.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Comfortable working on your feet and handling materials throughout the day.
- Willingness to learn new processes and systems.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, military, manufacturing, retail, or material handling experience is helpful but not required.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Seeking motivated Material Handlers to join our Goods Movement team.
What You'll Do:
- Support material movement activities throughout the facility.
- Pick, kit, and stage materials for production operations.
- Deliver materials to internal customers and manufacturing areas.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
- Perform inventory transactions and material tracking activities.
- Load, unload, and transport materials using approved equipment.
- Maintain material accuracy and organization within warehouse locations.
- Support a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
- Forklift Operations.
- Health And Safety Standards.
- Reach Forklift.
- SAP ERP.
- Shipping and Receiving.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED is required.
School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS
9/80 workweek. On-site position, full-time, Dayshift 7a-430p.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
