Job Description
The Project Manager leads electrical installation activities on large-scale industrial and mission-critical construction projects, including data centers, across Texas and other nationwide locations. This role serves as the primary liaison between contractors, subcontractors, and project teams, overseeing field personnel, coordinating project schedules, ensuring installation quality, and maintaining a safe, productive job site. The position requires extensive electrical construction leadership experience, proven success managing large projects and multiple crews, and the ability to travel full-time to support projects from startup through completion.
Responsibilities- Lead and oversee electrical installation activities on large-scale industrial and mission-critical construction projects, including data centers.
- Serve as the primary liaison between contractors, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Manage and supervise field personnel, including multiple crews and teams of 20 or more, to ensure productivity, quality, and adherence to project plans.
- Coordinate project schedules, milestones, and sequencing of electrical work to meet deadlines and support overall construction timelines.
- Ensure high-quality electrical installations by reviewing design documents, engineering plans, and specifications, and verifying compliance in the field.
- Maintain a safe job site environment by promoting safety best practices and aligning with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Monitor project progress, identify issues or risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
- Collaborate with general contractors and other trades to resolve field conflicts, coordinate work areas, and optimize construction workflows.
- Manage and process change orders related to electrical scope, including documentation, communication, and coordination with stakeholders.
- Support project design and engineering discussions by providing practical field input and constructability feedback.
- Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, including site teams and leadership, to provide updates on status, risks, and resource needs.
- Oversee project execution from startup through completion, ensuring smooth mobilization, efficient construction, and organized closeout.
- Proven experience leading large-scale electrical construction projects in industrial or mission-critical environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise multiple electrical crews and teams of 20 or more personnel.
- Strong background in field service and electrical installation, with hands-on understanding of job site operations.
- Experience coordinating with general contractors and subcontractors on complex construction projects.
- Solid project management skills, including scheduling, progress tracking, and scope management.
- Ability to manage change orders and adjust plans in response to evolving project requirements.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to serve as the primary liaison among diverse project stakeholders.
- Knowledge of design and engineering principles related to electrical systems in large facilities.
- Commitment to safety and familiarity with OSHA standards; OSHA 30 certification is highly valued.
- Leadership experience in roles such as Electrical Superintendent, Electrical Site Manager, General Foreman, Master Electrician, Senior Electrical Project Manager, or Construction Manager with an electrical background.
- Experience in mission-critical or data center electrical environments, including high-reliability power systems.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miami, Texas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $56.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
