We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support a nonprofit organization's construction compliance initiatives in Los Angeles, California. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative support, maintaining accurate records, and managing high-volume data entry with precision. The role partners with internal departments, contractors, and community stakeholders to ensure compliance documentation, contract records, and reporting requirements are accurate and up to date.


Responsibilities:

  • Enter, review, and maintain large volumes of data within databases and tracking systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Organize and maintain compliance files, ensuring both electronic and hard-copy records are complete, current, and easily accessible.
  • Track required documentation related to contracts, compliance activities, and reporting requirements while adhering to established processes and deadlines.
  • Provide administrative support for construction-related contracts, project documentation, and compliance recordkeeping.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports using Excel and other office systems to support compliance monitoring and departmental reporting.
  • Communicate with staff, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to collect documents and address reporting or compliance-related inquiries.
  • Support the compliance team with daily administrative functions, special projects, and general office coordination.


Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of data entry, administrative, compliance, or records management experience.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process high volumes of information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with compliance documentation, contracts, government-funded programs, or nonprofit organizations is a plus.
  • Construction industry experience or familiarity with construction projects, contractors, certified payroll, labor compliance, or project documentation is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Section 3 compliance is not required, but candidates must be willing to learn and follow established guidelines and procedures.
