This mid-sized hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia provides obstetric and gynecologic services across clinic and hospital settings to the regional patient population. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and structured workflows to support continuous care delivery across all assigned coverage periods. Clinical operations include L&D and OR-based services, conducted in accordance with day shift and 24-hour pager call coverage requirements.

Charlottesville and Albemarle County offer clinicians on assignment a range of cultural and recreational activities suited to varied interests. The area provides access to outdoor pursuits along the Saunders-Monticello Trail, regional landmarks such as Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, and entertainment options including UVA football games at Scott Stadium and the Downtown Mall. Clinicians will provide clinic-based and hospital obstetric and gynecologic coverage through day shift and 24-hour pager call assignments at an on-site facility in Charlottesville, Virginia, on sporadic dates from October through December. Hospital coverage runs Sunday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, while office coverage for vacation weeks includes Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, for return OB patients and same-day visits only. Surgical responsibilities include C-sections performed in the L&D OR, with 1 OR room in L&D and 4 additional OR rooms available. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, structured as 24-hour pager call throughout each designated coverage period.
