Job Title: Pool/Water Quality Technicians
Location: WorldSprings at Grandscape
Position Type: Part-time or Full-time
WorldSprings is the outdoor, social-wellness experience that helps every guest feel better through globally-inspired soaking waters.
Position Overview:
Water Quality Technicians are responsible for maintenance, repairs and cleaning of pools, spas, and associated equipment. Your role is to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the aquatic facilities.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
Regularly inspect and maintain swimming pools and spas to ensure proper operation and compliance with health and safety standards.
Clean and sanitize pool surfaces, walls, and fixtures to maintain water quality.
Perform routine water testing, adjust chemical levels as requested by pool maintenance manager, and ensure proper filtration and circulation.
Inspect and maintain pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical feeders.
Troubleshoot and report faulty pool equipment to ensure continuous operation.
Perform preventative maintenance on pool machinery and equipment as directed by manager.

Handle and store pool chemicals, minerals, and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
Maintain an inventory of pool supplies, organize, and replenish as needed.
Aid and assist with repairs as needed.
Respond to emergency situations such as leaks, and equipment malfunction.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Environmental Factors and other requirements:
The essential functions of this position are performed outdoors in high temperatures and prolonged humidity. Ability to sustain physical labor and maintain focus during prolonged exposure to extreme heat and humidity
Ability to safely navigate, lift, and maneuver equipment on chronically wet, slick, and slimy surfaces
Ability to lift, push, and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs)
May involve bending, crouching, and crawling
Ability to problem solve efficiently and think on your feet
Proficiency with guest and team member relations and de-escalation
Ability to delegate and multitask in high pressure situations
Ability to walk around and across property
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Certification in pool maintenance is a plus.
Previous experience in pool maintenance or a similar role.
Knowledge of pool chemistry and water treatment.
Basic understanding of pool equipment and machinery.
