Amcare Pro Home Health, Palliative Care & Hospice is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurses for full-time and PRN field positions serving patients in Forney, Terrell, Mesquite, and surrounding communities.

Our Licensed Vocational Nurses provide skilled, patient-centered care in the comfort of each patient’s home. This role supports patients in safely managing their conditions while maintaining their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled nursing visits in patients’ homes
  
  
• Provide nursing care according to physician orders and the established plan of care
  
  
• Administer medications and treatments within the LVN scope of practice
  
  
• Monitor patients’ conditions and promptly report significant changes to the supervising Registered Nurse or physician
  
  
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding medications, treatments, safety, and care instructions
  
  
• Communicate regularly with the supervising Registered Nurse and interdisciplinary care team
  
  
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
  
  
• Follow infection-control procedures, agency policies, and applicable regulations
  
  
• Travel to patients throughout Forney, Terrell, Mesquite, and surrounding areas
  
  

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse license
  
  
• Current CPR or BLS certification
  
  
• At least one year of nursing experience preferred
  
  
• Home health, hospice, or palliative care experience preferred
  
  
• WellSky/Kinnser experience is a plus
  
  
• Strong clinical, communication, and time-management skills
  
  
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance
  
  
• Ability to work independently under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
  
  
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area
