OverviewWe are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and patient-focused Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a 58-bed skilled nursing facility in Camden, Maine.
This full-time permanent opportunity offers 40 hours per week in a smaller SNF environment where your clinical expertise can have a direct and meaningful impact. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals
Provide skilled speech-language therapy using evidence-based practices
Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate
Evaluate and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, dietary, and other interdisciplinary team members
Participate in care planning and communicate resident progress
Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment strategies and recommendations
Promote safety, independence, communication, and quality of life
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current Maine Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure
ASHA certification or eligibility preferred
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team
