Forklift Operator

Connect Staffing is hiring a Sit-Down Forklift Operator for a stucco manufacturing facility in Riverside, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $19.00/hr. In this role, you will operate a sit-down forklift to move materials, finished product, and supplies throughout the plant.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to transport raw materials, bags, pallets, and finished stucco product throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks and stage materials in designated areas.
• Move and organize palletized product in the warehouse and production areas.
• Inspect forklift before each shift and report any mechanical issues.
• Keep work areas clear and follow safety procedures at all times.
• Assist production team with material flow as needed throughout the shift.

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of sit-down forklift experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a building materials, construction products, or dry-mix manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with pallet jack and other material handling equipment.
• Experience loading and unloading trucks and managing inventory staging areas.
• Ability to read packing slips, work orders, or shipping labels.
• Experience following production floor safety protocols and wearing required PPE.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

• Steel toe boots required (employee-provided).
