Paul House & Health Care Center is seeking an experienced, organized, and compassionate Administrator to provide leadership and operational oversight for our Skilled Nursing Facility and Assisted Living Community.
The Administrator is responsible for the overall operation of the community, including resident care and services, regulatory compliance, staffing, financial performance, employee relations, and day-to-day facility operations. This position works closely with nursing leadership, department managers, residents, families, corporate leadership, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to promote quality care and a positive resident experience.

Provide overall leadership and operational oversight for the Skilled Nursing Facility and Assisted Living Community
Ensure resident care and services are provided in accordance with facility standards, policies, and applicable regulatory requirements
Provide leadership, direction, and accountability to department managers and facility staff
Partner closely with the Director of Nursing and clinical leadership to promote quality resident care and positive clinical outcomes
Oversee staffing, recruitment, retention, employee performance, and department accountability in collaboration with Human Resources
Monitor facility operations and ensure departments are functioning effectively and collaboratively
Promote resident rights, dignity, safety, satisfaction, and quality of life
Address resident and family concerns professionally and timely
Maintain positive communication with residents, families, employees, physicians, vendors, and other stakeholders
Monitor facility financial performance, staffing expenses, departmental budgets, and operational goals
Support census development, admissions, and resident retention efforts
Ensure appropriate preparation and response for regulatory surveys, inspections, audits, and plans of correction
Oversee quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
Conduct and participate in leadership, department, and interdisciplinary meetings
Ensure facility policies and procedures are consistently implemented and followed
Promote a professional, respectful, accountable, and team-oriented workplace culture
Communicate facility needs, concerns, and operational performance to corporate leadership
Perform additional administrative and operational responsibilities as assigned
Current and valid Illinois Nursing Home Administrator license, as required for the position
Previous Administrator or senior leadership experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, or a related healthcare environment preferred
Experience overseeing multidisciplinary healthcare operations
Knowledge of long-term care operations, resident services, and regulatory compliance
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively lead and hold department managers accountable
Strong understanding of staffing, employee relations, budgeting, census, and facility operations
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, employees, corporate leadership, and regulatory representatives
Professional, dependable, and committed to resident-centered care
Must meet applicable health and background requirements
Full-time leadership position
Schedule may vary based on facility and resident needs
Administrator availability outside of regular business hours may be required based on operational or emergency needs
