Frederick Villa Healthcare has an amazing opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist. We are an in-house facility with an "out of the box" approach to patient care. We provide our residents with all of the therapy they need and deserve.

Duties/Responsibilities:

o Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care

o Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers

o Measures & records patient’s communicative, cognitive, and swallowing functions

o Monitors patient responses to treatments and makes modifications during treatment sessions as necessary

o Codes information for billing purposes; performs daily billing

o Completes documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations

Skills:

o SNF/Long term care experience preferred

o Current knowledge of treatment practices

o Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred

o Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities

Required licensure:

o Current License as Speech Language Therapist in the State of Maryland. Must be in good standing.

o Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association
