Position Summary

The Caregiver-Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct care and assistance to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role is essential in helping residents achieve and maintain their highest level of independence, dignity, comfort, and overall well-being while ensuring care is delivered in accordance with physician orders, company standards, and all applicable federal and state regulations.

Our caregivers play a vital role in creating a positive and nurturing environment where residents feel valued, respected, and supported.

What You'll Do
  • Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents.
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
  • Promote resident independence and encourage participation in daily activities.
  • Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
  • Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and safety at all times.
  • Follow individualized care plans, physician orders, and facility policies.
  • Support a warm, welcoming, and caring community environment.
QualificationsEducation
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
  • Minimum of three (3) months of experience performing basic nursing assistant duties preferred.
Certification
  • Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
  • Current CNA certification in good standing.
  • Completion of all required in-services and continuing education requirements.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age due to Department of Labor regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring, positive attitude and genuine desire to help others.
