Pay & benefits:

  • Pay Rate: $69.23 per hour.

  • Sick Leave/PTO: One (1) hour accrual per every 30 hours work up to 56 hours per year.
  • Vacation: Two (2) weeks paid vacation after one (1) year of service with a contractor or successor, three (3) weeks after five (5) years, and four (4) weeks after 15 years.

Description of duties:

  • Physical Therapist shall conduct therapy assessments and evaluations and develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans for patients with diagnoses including, but not limited to: chronic pain, musculoskeletal conditions, neurologic conditions, cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions, geriatric conditions, and wound care/lymphedema.
  • The PT shall perform evaluations including, but not limited to: formal musculoskeletal evaluation, Physical Therapy evaluation, General Therapy Screenings, prosthetic and adaptive equipment evaluation and assessment, aquatic therapy, wheelchair seating, pelvic health and positioning, and home evaluations.
  • The PT shall formally and informally assess each patient's physical, functional, psychosocial, and emotional needs and use that information to develop a comprehensive and dynamic treatment plan enabling each patient to achieve optimal levels of function in self-care, activities of daily living, work, and leisure.

Education and experience:

  • A minimum of 2,000 hours of clinical practice directly in chronic pain physical therapy within the past two to five years OR board certification in a specialty area recognized by the ABPTS OR completion of a fellowship program in a related specialty.
  • Shall have two years of experience of hospital or ambulatory care experience (or equivalent chronic pain experience).
