Dock Coordinator - Full-time

JOB SUMMARY:

The Dock Coordinator is part of Clair's Warehouse team.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

1. Coordinate loading and unloading of trucks

 

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion.

 

· Ability to excel and adapt in a fast-paced, client driven, demanding environment

· Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude under sometimes challenging conditions

· Prompt, consistent, and dependable attendance is a requirement for this position.

· Availability to work overtime on short notice, including weekends, when necessary

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

1. Coordinate the activity of workers engaged in loading and unloading trucks and check-in and out of gear.

2. Assist Transportation Manager with truck packs

3. Assist Shop Manager with general warehouse duties as needed

4. Assist with driver scheduling

5. Coordinate truck maintenance/cleaning

6. Other duties as assigned
