The Blue Loon, a bakery café in New London, NH, is looking for a hardworking and dependable Dishwasher to join our team. We're currently seeking someone with consistent weekday availability who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping a kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly. What You'll Do

As a Dishwasher at The Blue Loon, you'll play an important role in keeping our bakery café operating efficiently. This is a team-oriented role, and everyone is expected to pitch in wherever needed to help the day run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Washing, sanitizing, and putting away dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assisting with general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, taking out trash and recycling, and keeping dish and kitchen areas clean and stocked.
• Helping keep the back-of-house running efficiently so our bakers and kitchen team have what they need during busy shifts.
• Occasionally serving as a food runner, delivering orders to customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Pitching in with other kitchen and café support tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Consistent weekday availability (daytime shifts).
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and high standards.
• A team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed.
• A friendly, positive attitude and the confidence to interact with customers when delivering food.
• The ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, reach, and safely lift up to 25 pounds.
• No prior experience is required, but reliability, efficiency, and a willingness to learn are essential.

Hourly wage plus participation in our shared tip pool (typically an additional $3–$5 per hour).
