Plant General - Now Hiring

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Plant General to join their team. As a Plant General, you will be part of the manufacturing operations supporting the production process. The ideal candidate will have reliability, safety focus, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Plant General

Location: Niagara Falls, NY

Pay Range: $22

Shift: Typically rotating swing shifts including days, afternoons, nights, and weekends; flexibility and open availability are critical.

What's the Job?

• Operate plant equipment efficiently to support manufacturing processes.
• Follow standard operating procedures and production work orders.
• Perform quality checks, collect samples, and record accurate production data.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues as needed, performing minor repairs.
• Adhere to all safety policies, including PPE use and lockout/tagout procedures, and participate in safety audits and continuous improvement programs.

What's Needed?

• Ability to work 36-48 hours per week, including 8-hour or 12-hour shifts.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Physical capability to lift/move up to 55 pounds, climb ladders or stairs, and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in a dusty environment with seasonal temperature variations.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and management.
