Elevator Watch - Now Hiring

Our client, a paper mill, is seeking an Elevator Watch to join their team in Valdosta, GA. As an Elevator Watch, you will be part of the maintenance support team assisting during the annual shut down. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures consistently, and a commitment to accurate recordkeeping—skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Elevator Watch

Location: Valdosta, GA

Pay Range: $16.50

Shift: 12 hr shifts 2 - (7am - 7pm) and nights 2 - (7pm to 7am)

What's the Job?

• Monitor elevator usage by personnel during the shut down period
• Ensure accurate records are kept for elevator activity
• Verify that nothing prohibited is taken on the elevator
• Follow site procedures and complete assigned training requirements
• Maintain a safety-focused, detail-oriented approach throughout each shift

What's Needed?

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and be scheduled every day for approximately 2 weeks
• Comfortable staying alert and attentive while monitoring elevator usage
• Strong commitment to following rules, procedures, and documentation requirements
• Successful completion of a drug screening (urine - 5 panel)
• Background check (client credential package)
