Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a hospital-based Physical Therapy department.
Details
- 281-bed hospital setting within the Physical Therapy department
- Team includes 11 PTs, 2 PTAs, and 2 PRN office coordinators
- Day shift schedule for all staff
- Patient ratio of 8-10 patients per 8-hour shift, with assignments of 10-13
- Equipment used includes walkers, crutches, braces, and wheelchairs
- Documentation completed in Meditech
- On-call requirement with check-in by 7:00 AM
- Shift hours from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
- BLS certification required
- Florida PT license required if applicable
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to Meditech documentation system
- No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and therapeutic activities
- Highly cohesive, engaged, and positive team culture
- Gray scrub color required
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
