Speech Language Pathologist

Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluation findings
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Wisconsin
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred or eligibility required
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Ability to fulfill a 35-hour weekly guarantee
- Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment
- Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment, including modified barium swallow studies
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Enjoy the stability of a 35-hour weekly guarantee throughout your 13-week contract
