Shop Clerk

1st Shift 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

SUMMARY:

The Shop Clerk maintains a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the Maintenance Department. This role maximizes space utilization while monitoring and sourcing parts as needed for operations. The Shop Clerk ensures tooling and parts availability, facilitates order fulfillment, and contributes to a safe and orderly working environment.

JOB FUNCTION/PURPOSE:

• Sources parts and materials as needed.
• Maintains and manages tooling inventory.
• Stocks parts for the maintenance department.
• Performs cycle counts and inventory checks periodically.
• Relocates parts as needed.
• Performs data entry into the computer to manage part locations.
• Cleans and organizes the shop and maintains work areas.
• Assists the maintenance department in 5S projects.
• Supports maintenance technicians to identify parts as needed.
• Ensures the compliance of safety guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of industrial parts and warehouse supplies.
• Knowledge of MP2 or other inventory control software ideal.
• Must have ability to see differential color
• Efficient use of computer
• MUST be authorized to work in US
