Cashier

Convenience Store Associate

We are looking for a dependable, friendly, and hardworking individual to join our convenience store team. This position involves a variety of day-to-day store responsibilities and requires someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service
• Operate the cash register and accurately handle customer transactions
• Stock shelves, coolers, and other merchandise throughout the store
• Receive, move, and organize inventory
• Lift and carry heavier cases and products when stocking coolers and store inventory
• Assist with food preparation and maintain food service areas
• Clean and sanitize counters, equipment, floors, restrooms, and other store areas
• Keep shelves, coolers, displays, and customer areas clean, organized, and well stocked
• Monitor merchandise and notify management when items need to be restocked
• Follow company procedures for food safety, cleanliness, cash handling, and customer service
• Perform other general convenience store duties as needed

Qualifications

• Dependable and able to arrive for scheduled shifts on time
• Friendly and professional when working with customers and coworkers
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
• Able to bend, reach, stock merchandise, and regularly lift and carry heavier products and cases
• Willing to perform a variety of duties, including cashiering, stocking, food preparation, and cleaning

Previous convenience store, retail, food service, or cashier experience is helpful but not required.
