Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Truck & Fleet Repair

Brockport, NY | $30–$35/hr+ DOE | Monday–Friday Days

Looking for a solid shop where you can turn wrenches, stay busy, and work on a good mix of heavy-duty equipment? We’re looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a busy truck repair operation in Brockport.

You’ll work on dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and other heavy-duty vehicles, handling everything from routine PMs and brakes to diagnostics and bumper-to-bumper repairs. The shop services its own fleet as well as outside customers, so there’s plenty of variety and steady work.

What You'll Be Doing

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers
• Handle PMs, oil changes, brakes, adjustments, steering, suspension, and drivetrain repairs
• Troubleshoot mechanical and diesel systems
• Perform bumper-to-bumper repairs and preventative maintenance
• Complete accurate work orders and document repairs
• Keep trucks safe, road-ready, and in service
• Work toward obtaining a NYS Heavy Duty Inspection License if you don't already have one

What We're Looking For

• Previous heavy-duty truck or diesel mechanic experience
• Strong mechanical and diesel troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable working on trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment
• Someone who can diagnose a problem, make the repair, and get the truck back on the road
• CDL and/or NYS Heavy Duty Inspection License is a plus, but not required

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
