Machine Repair Technician

About the job

The Repair Technician provides technical support, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of precision

equipment while ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

We're looking for someone who

● Holds a high school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred)

● Has 3–5 years of experience in equipment repair, field service, manufacturing, or a related

technical role

● Demonstrates strong mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills

● Has a basic understanding of electronics and the ability to read technical drawings and

schematics

● Is proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook

● Demonstrates strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

● Can work independently while managing multiple priorities

● Has experience using ERP systems or service management software (preferred)

● Is willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% as needed

● Is available to work overtime when required

What you'll do

● Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test precision equipment to meet quality standards

● Perform equipment inspections and verify operational performance

● Document repairs, testing results, and failure analysis reports

● Communicate technical findings and provide support to customers and internal teams

● Coordinate parts and materials needed for equipment repairs using ERP systems

● Complete repairs and verify equipment meets operational specifications

● Collaborate with engineering and product teams to provide feedback for product

improvements

● Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation

● Monitor assigned service activities and prioritize daily workload

● Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high customer service standards

Physical requirements

● Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., with frequent lifting and carrying of up to 25 lbs.

● Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the workday

● Must be able to perform repetitive hand and tool work

● Must be comfortable working with mechanical and electronic equipment

● Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require
