Customer Service & Production Assistant

We are looking for a reliable, organized, and energetic Customer Service & Production Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face and voice of our shop, serving as the primary point of contact for walk-in customers and phone inquiries. Beyond excellent customer service, you will play a hands-on role in daily print production, helping to process order requests, operate basic machinery, and keep shop operations running smoothly.

This is a vital position that bridges the gap between our clients and the final printed product. We are willing to train the right person on our specific printing equipment if they bring a stellar attitude and strong multitasking skills!

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Front Desk

• Greet and assist walk-in customers with positivity, helping them place print orders, pick up completed projects, and process payments.
• Answer incoming phone calls and emails, answer general inquiries, and route detailed project specifications to the production team.
• Provide accurate price quotes for standard print jobs (copies, binding, flyers, laminating, etc.) based on our shop’s pricing guidelines.
• Manage completed orders by packaging, organizing, and tracking them in the customer pickup area.

Print Production & Shop Support

• Operate digital copiers, printers, and finishing equipment (such as laminators, paper cutters, and binding machines).
• Maintain paper stock and supply inventory, alerting management when paper, toner, or binding materials are running low.
• Perform light daily maintenance on machines (clearing jams, restocking trays) and keep the front counter and production spaces tidy.
