Plant Maintenance Technician

1. Mechanical Maintenance & Repairs

Inspect equipment for wear, misalignment, lubrication issues, and other defects.

Dismantle, clean, repair, replace, install, assemble, and lubricate mechanical equipment.

Repair and align gears, bearings, shafts, piping, valves, and fittings.

Make temporary or permanent repairs to minimize production interruptions.

2. Troubleshooting & Equipment Support

Troubleshoot electrical issues involving timers, relays, motor starters, and related components.

Adjust equipment, dampers, valves, and other components for proper operation.

Set up and adjust a wide variety of plant equipment.

Perform basic maintenance on mobile equipment as needed.

3. Fabrication & Facility Maintenance

Fabricate, install, repair, and insulate piping, valves, fittings, ducts, and chutes.

Operate equipment such as drill presses, pipe threading machines, and power saws.

Perform approved electric and gas welding.

Fabricate structural members, plates, pressure vessels, and miscellaneous equipment.

Clean the job site and return tools/materials to proper storage after completing work.
