Machine Operator

Operate the following equipment:

• High-speed inserters: 3 BlueCrest Epics, 3 MSDPs, 1 APSP, 2 MPSR (9 total).

• Inserting: 4 Flowmasters, 1 MSE with Harrier 4CP inkjet.

• Card tipping & printing: 3 lines (4 lanes).

• Inline inkjet: K-only and 4CP as installed across high-speeds and MSE.

Expectation of role:

•     Safety: PPE compliant, LOTO-aware for the equipment they run, near-miss reporting, hazard identification.

•     Mail integrity & quality: understands OMR / 2D / barcode read systems, IMb requirements, and USPS mail prep impact at the piece level.

•     Documentation: job logging, machine logging downtime, reason codes, and job changeovers logged accurately per shift.

•     Housekeeping: clean work area, organized changeover parts/tooling, proper staging.

•     Communication: clear shift-to-shift handoffs, timely status updates to the supervisor, active partnership with maintenance.

•     Attendance & flexibility: reliable attendance; flexes coverage during peak season and major mail drops.

•     Continuous improvement: participates in CI events; surfaces changeover and uptime improvement ideas.

• Cycle speed compliance: sets and sustains assigned equipment at or above its rated Set Cycle Speed
