Field Engineer

We are seeking a Field Engineer to join our team in Tacoma, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate interested in civil engineering to start their career in Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Testing & Inspection.

We are looking for someone eager to learn, committed to professional growth, and motivated to contribute to meaningful fieldwork and project support

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform construction materials testing and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
• Conduct environmental sampling and collect soil, rock, and other materials for laboratory analysis
• Monitor geotechnical and construction activities, documenting field observations and prepping reports
• Assist with geotechnical drilling, subsurface investigations, and field sample collection
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable regulatory and quality assurance requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: BS Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology or similar discipline
• Certification: EIT certification or willingness to obtain
• Skills: Strong interest in risk assessment and environmental regulations. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Licenses: Valid Driver’s License with good record (company vehicle provided)
