Insurance Associate - Claims Adjuster

Type: Contract to Hire

Title: Associate Adjuster - Inside Property

Compensation: $24/hour

Location: Hybrid in Worcester, MA

Schedule: M-F, Standard Shift

Responsibilities:

-Analyze, evaluate, negotiate and help settle claims of minimal complexity

-Handle outbound calls to provide updates about or collect information regarding claims

-Respond to inbound client communications efficiently and professionally

-Review electronic claim files for completeness, accuracy, and adherence

-Identify possibly suspicious claims activity

-Collaborate with the Investigations Unit to resolve and negotiate settlements

-Take recorded statements, as needed

-Obtain and file documentation

Qualifications:

-Undergraduate degree required (current enrollment acceptable)

-Must have or secure and maintain an adjuster license in appropriate states (company sponsored)

-At least 1 year of experience in service, financial or hospitality industry

-Energetic and communicative problem solver, who seeks innovative solutions

-Collaborative team player, with strong technology skills and attention to detail
