We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals.

3 month assignments then could go permanent

8-4 / M-F

Duties:

Able to move residence around out of a wheelchair at times
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in accordance with their personalized care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any adverse reactions
- Perform first aid and basic medical procedures when necessary
- Respect and uphold the rights of residents, ensuring their dignity and privacy at all times
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as nurses or hospice care providers, to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:
- Previous experience in patient care or senior care is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration and first aid procedures
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals in need
- Valid driver's license for transportation purposes
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
